How do laser facials work?

The Elite+ laser treats the face, neck and chest by stimulating the collagen in the skin.* This helps to reduce fine lines & wrinkles. Unlike other treatments that remove an outer layer of skin and require significant healing, the Elite+ laser is non-invasive and gently penetrates the inner layer of skin so that the outer layer is not damaged. After your laser facial, you’ll be able to return to your routine schedule immediately. If your daughter or son is getting married, we can perform this facial in the days leading up to the big day. What should I expect during treatment?

During your laser facial, you will be seated comfortably. We will apply a gel to your face and neck to act as a safety barrier between the laser and your skin. We will then use the Elite+ handpiece to move the laser across the targeted areas. There is minimal discomfort and most patients describe the procedure as feeling like a mild sunburn. Elite+’s built-in cooling system helps us to deliver targeted laser energy to your skin without overheating its surface. Treatment times will vary from patient-to-patient, but on average, it takes between 5 and 30 minutes.
