How does the Elite+ laser work?

The Elite+ laser system uses multiple wavelengths to provide fast, effective and versatile hair removal. With an adjustable, customized proportion of high-powered 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG energy, we can safely and comfortably treat a wide range of skin types and hair colors to reduce hair growth. Elite+ offers some of the most effective and gentle hair reduction available on the market. In fact, 1064nm Nd:YAG is considered the safest wavelength for dark or tan skin, making Elite+ more accessible than other laser hair removal devices. This is why the Elite+ system is our laser of choice.

During treatments, the laser delivers a brief, intense beam of light that is absorbed by the hair follicle and converted into heat. This effectively damages the follicle and stops further hair growth.*

What should I expect during treatment?

Since the Elite+ laser is safe and effective for everyone, during your initial appointment, we will discuss the areas of your body that you’d like to treat. Larger body areas allow us to treat more skin with each pulse, which dramatically reduces your total treatment time. During your treatment, the laser will make a few passes in the areas where you’d like to reduce hair growth. Treatments are comfortable and pain-free.* There is no downtime, and you will be able to return to your normal routine immediately.

What should I expect from the results?
